    Pass the Gateway of India on the way to Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue, built in 1884. Then visit the Gothic-style David Sassoon Library to marvel at its sheer size. Then you’ll continue on to tour two more synagogues: Magen David Synagogue, the largest in Asia, and the Tiphereth Synagogue. Then you’ll pass by the Dhobi Ghat open-air laundromat and watch as a massive amount of clothing is washed.

On this tour you’ll learn about the five great clans of Hong Kong and visit the Lo Wai walled village formed by the Tang clan. Here you’ll see clan rituals and the ancestral hall.

  • Thai Gastronomy at the Blue Elephant (Phuket, Thailand)
    Delve deep into Thai cuisine at the Blue Elephant Restaurant and Cooking School. You’ll first head out to a local market with an instructor to pick up fresh ingredients, seeing the people who grew the vegetables and fished for the seafood. Then you’ll head back to the restaurant to learn about the main spices and herbs used in Thai cooking. Then you’ll prepare an appetizer, soup, main dish and side dish. After you’ve completed this meal, you’ll sit down and enjoy it.
