With dance lessons, competitions and meet-and-greets with the shows professional dancers and stars, you’ll be mad about ballroom.
Dancing can work up an appetite, but there’s no need to fear, the ship has some of the best dining options at sea.
Holland America works with a team of acclaimed chefs to come up with intricate and flavorful menus at restaurants like the Pinnacle Grill, which turns into Le Cirque for one night during your sailing.
And don’t forget that you can soothe your dancing feet with a massage at the ms Zuiderdam’s spa.

Pros: Food, service, comfortable state rooms, Great excursion options, flexible dining options. Great entertainment
Cons: Even tho it was family friendly it would be nice to have adult only time in the pool area

Don't worry first time World cruisers (this was us last year) you will be drawn into the warmth of your fellow passengers and the staff, unlike anything you have experienced before. If you talk to those who have done somewhere from 1 to 20 World Cruises before, they came back for the familiarity, the welcoming and helpful staff and old friends that are now their cruise family. The itineraries are amazing, and if you are not sure what to do in that port, we had Kimberly Wells, the Cruise Director with her port talks to help you make a plan based on your comfort level. The guest speakers are some of the bests in their fields and offer subjects and topics to further educate us on our destinations. The giving community is strong on board, with Project Linus (498 blankets were made by fellow guessts), Silent Auctions and donations for Bernhardt Nordkamp Foundation, donations and a 1 mile walk to support On Deck For a Cause. If you love Pickleball, they have it. If you want to learn, take lessons, there held every sea day. Watercolor, Arts and Crafts and drawing and meeting to play games of all kinds are favorites of those who love to gather with friends or make new friends. The Daily is distributed each day and is jam packed with activities to keep you as busy as you want to be all day long. This will never get old for me, but when you do leave the ship for the day to explore this amazing new place or revisit one of the great destinations and you return to the ship at the end of day, you look up and you see in bold capital letters - WELCOME HOME, and yes it good to be home.
Pros: Hands down every time, it's the Staff.
Cons: The staterooms could use more storage. The Lido Market food is not always hot as I would like

We were in Quebec at the perfect time for fall foliage, but about 2 weeks too early on PEI and Nova Scotia. The staff on the Zuiderdam are very helpful and so very friendly.
Pros: Beautiful ports, nice scenery, some fall foliage, friendly and helpful staff

Strongly recommend extended stay in Quebec if you can
Pros: Great service, food and drink. Enjoyed each location visited.
Cons: Excursion trip to Peggy’s Cove was way too short.
