Mobility Impairments
Carnival Cruise Line's ship feature Accessible Staterooms, which offer wheelchair access and additional floor space and bathroom accommodations. To learn more, continue below:

  • Fully Accessible Cabins (FAC) - These cabins are for guests who use a wheelchair at all times. Features include more floor space for turning, bathroom grab bars and shower seats.
  • Fully Accessible Cabins, Single Side Approach (FAC-SSA) - Similar to FACs, these cabins are designed to allow additional space and access on a single side of the stateroom, rather than throughout the cabin.
  • Ambulatory Accessible Cabins (AAC) - Designed for guests who do not require a wheelchair, but use a walker or cane. These do not contain additional turning space, but have amenities such as grab bars and shower seats.

Hearing Impairments
All guests travelling on a Carnival cruise ship will have access to a visual-tactical alert system for everything from a knock at the door to an emergency alert. For those requiring a sign language interpreter, Carnival encourages 60 days' notice.

Visual Impairments
Signs throughout Carnival Cruise Line ships are available with Braille format. In the dining room, a PDF menu paired with screen reading software is available to guests; of course, waiters are also always happy to read the menus.

Medical Care
On board all Carnival ships, there is a 24/7 medical facility. While these facilities are state-of-the-art, please keep in mind that they may not be able to provide all services or specialty care.

Dietary Needs
Carnival dining options have the ability to meet any dietary restriction, including vegetarian, low cholesterol, low carb, low sugar and gluten free. Those requiring Kosher are asked to give the cruise line at least two weeks' notice.

Service Dogs
Only registered service dogs with dedicated training to assist those with disabilities are allowed aboard Carnival ships. Emotional support animals are NOT PERMITTED onboard Carnival's ships.
