Azamara Cruises Accessibility
Azamara welcomes guests with all levels of ability. The ship has an array of staterooms specifically made for passengers with limited mobility. The ship, however, does not provide wheelchairs or scooters for use during your sailing. For more information speak with your cruise consultant.
Mobility Disabilities
Aboard Azamara, those with mobility impairments are welcome! Enjoy accessible staterooms and complimentary wheelchair assistance whenever disembarking. Please keep in mind that all mobility devices must be provided by guests and kept in staterooms whenever not in use.
Visual Disabilities
Wherever possible on Azamara's intimate ships, Braille has been incorporated to aid those with visual impairments. Upon boarding, those with vision impairment may request a qualified reader for onboard materials. In dining areas, wait staff are always happy to help guests read their menu.
Medical Needs
Azamara welcomes guests with needs for dialysis and oxygen needs, but guests must provide all necessary medical equipment. Like most cruise lines, Azamara cannot accept guests that are in their 24th week of pregnancy or later. On every Azamara voyage, there is a physician and nurse available to provide medical services and select medications for a small fee.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome on board all Azamara cruises. Service dogs are defined as "...any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability." Those travelling with a furry companion will be provided a 16-square-foot Cyprus mulch relief area. As long as they are leashed, service dogs are welcome in all public areas on Azamara ships.
