Pros: Ship and staterooms very well designed, clean and comfortable. Staff exceptionally cheerful and eager to provide service.
Cons: Procedures during cruise a bit hard to grasp for first timers even with the good information materials

Exceptional service. Due to high water levels we missed Regensburg which was a huge disappointment. Budweis was not much of a substitute.
Pros: Incredible service keeping our cabin pristine, the delectable 3 meals a day and incredible organization and execution from our cruise manager.
Cons: Not enough excursion choices for the pre and post trips

This was our second AMA cruise. Overall a very enjoyable trip, peaceful and interesting cruising at night (including leaving port in the evening from Budapest with it lit up Parliament Building), many excursion choices, and good selections of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also enjoyed the smaller number of passengers verses a cruise ships mega thousands. We had one small technical problem in our room - the bathroom light was not turning off and it was repaired within 10 minutes. I would recommend AMA for your consideration. We plan on traveling again soon.
Pros: Excellent itinerary with included excursions and a few extra ones such as a folklore show with dinner and a visit to Terezin Concentration Camp that required added payment.
Cons: Expected more interaction from the Cruise Manager based on our prior AMA cruise. The tour guide in Bratislava presented too many facts during the presentation and should have stuck to more local subjects about the town.

Cons: Expected more interaction from Cruise Manager based upon our prior AMA cruise experience. On board entertainment was a bit sparse, and, at least one tour leader could have made a better presentation of local history in Bratislava (guide had too many facts).

I have traveled to Europe with friends and family. I have stayed in hotels and AirB&B’s. This trip was well planned and so enjoyable. First of all the room on board was very comfortable and allowed me to unpack and go. The view from my room was beautiful as we motored down river. The staff was exceptional. The service was perfect. And the Cruise Director was available to keep us on time for all activities. The meals were delicious, and any special request was met with wonderful results.
Pros: The ship was comfortable and quickly felt like home . The Crew was exceptional

Really enjoyed the trip. A plus was only 82 passengers on the 156 passenger ship. It was just as we expected, morning tour of town with some free time if the port allowed. Enjoyed the special palace tour in Grein and the Octoberfest. The majority of the guides were knowledgeable and personable. The decor was attractive, the staff exceptional and the food yummy and plentiful. We liked the special treatment for our 50th anniversary and a birthday and the gifts given to all passengers. Special condos to Uew who helped arrange mobility service at the airports after I fell at the end of the trip and was having difficulty getting around. He was a special asset through the whole trip!
Pros: Immaculate ship, nice itinerary, good pre and post add ons, excellent service, great food
Cons: We had to dock several times next to other ships already docked which made getting on shore cumbersome with the going in and out and up and down on the ship already there especially since we had wet weather several of the days
