Viking Atla

Once your reservation is made the Viking website allows you to schedule excursions and make changes to air travel if necessary including seat selection.This was our fourth Viking cruise and will use them again.

We rarely travel where it is cold. (Tall ski socks and fleece lined pants are a must.) However this trip was worth it. We booked this cruise to visit all the Christmas Markets along our voyage. Other than a couple of stops that did not have their markets open yet, those that did were fabulous and some had several markets to visit. This was our 2nd trip with Viking. We love the low number of passengers. We have made several friends we keep in touch with and hope to travel with in the future. The crew is always friendly and often refers to you by name when they see you. They learn your preferences and make sure those are available when they see you. Dietary restrictions are so hard when we travel. Viking went above and beyond to make sure menu options were within our limits. Included excursions are always great in any new area. Optional excursions allow you to pick what interests you. Learning the Viennese Waltz, eating apricot dumplings while learning how to make them, local beer and sausage tasting while learning the brewing process in a so many options to name. We are already in the midst of booking our next adventure in 2024.

We had a wonderful time. We were treated so well, met so many new fun people. We were pleasantly surprised at the number of younger people on the cruise! It isn't only for old retirees! A very few complaining passengers made it a smidge less pleasant than it might have been, but like a post you don't like on social media, you learn quickly to avoid the haters.

Viking takes very good care of the passengers at all times. When you return from an all day tour, you are welcomed back with a hot beverage. They are always very polite and concerned about you having the best experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an overall great experience. Service was great, food was great and accommodations were great. I love Viking Cruises!

Nothing Viking can do about the Rain!

The Viking Cruise Staff performed excellently managing the issues, surrounding the poor water level. We were impressed with the work and efforts, of the entire staff in making the best of a bad situation. Extremely Well Done!!!
