• Take a ride to Hana. The road that leads to this town is an amazingly narrow and curvy road that winds past waterfalls, lava cliffs and beaches – and it features 50 one-lane bridges.
   
• Maui was an important stop for whaling ships. Explore the Whalers Village Museum to learn about the history of whaling and see a sperm whale skeleton.
   
• Spend an afternoon on the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park. Here you’ll also see a sea arch and sea caves.
   
• Take a cruise out into the Lahaina Harbor as a naturalist gives you a guided tour of the marine life in Maui. Get your cameras out as humpback whales will be ready for the spotlight.
