Ghent, Belgium Cruise Port

The interesting city of Ghent, Belgium was once known as the second largest in all of Europe during the 13th century. Today, it is still flourishing with ancient architecture and many exciting landmarks. Located along the Scheldt River, this town is known to have a colorful history. It boasts a very impressive cathedral that has Jan and Hubert van Eyck’s Adorations of the Mystic Lamb, one of the greatest Flemish paintings of the time.
