There are remains of a Roman town outside of Alcudia’s walls, in front of the Church of St. Jaume. A small Roman theatre can be found that once belonged to the ancient city of Pollentia. A golf course has been constructed and both bicycle and hiking trips are something many enjoy partaking in. The old town is now pedestrianized, and one of the most visited villages in the area.
