Alcudia, Spain Cruise Port

Inhabited since the Bronze Age, Alcudia is a very well preserved city, making for an exciting day exploring the rich history and culture of the town. There are remains of a Roman town outside of Alcudia’s walls, in front of the Church of St. Jaume. A small Roman theatre can be found that once belonged to the ancient city of Pollentia. Alcudia is perfect for those looking for either relaxation or an exciting adventure filled with history and culture. A golf course has been constructed and both bicycle and hiking trips are something many enjoy partaking in. The old town is now pedestrianized, and one of the most visited villages in the area. Below, we have listed a few of our favorite things to do while cruising to the port city of Alcudia, Spain:

  • Explore the ancient city town center of Alcudia filled with historic charm and tall ancient buildings.

  • Visit the San Jaume church, a roman catholic church that dominates the old town, built in neo gothic style around the late 1800’s.

  • Shop in the local markets found along the walls of the town. You can find everything from locally grown produce to shoes, purses and other great souvenirs from your Alcudia, Spain cruise!

  • Embark on a boat trip to Formentor Beach, where the boat takes you around the coast of North Majorca and has some great views of the coast.

  • Walk around the walls lining Alcudia or along the stretch of beaches.
