Fine Dining aboard Regent Luxury Ships

Regent's "Signatures" is the only restaurant at sea to be created and operated by chefs wearing the white toque and blue riband of the Cordon Bleu of Paris, the most prestigious culinary authority in the world. The ambience is classically and elegantly French, of course, and the treasured cooking techniques are those handed down by generations of Cordon Bleu chefs, but the cuisine is far from traditional - a marvelous mixture of culinary delights as inventive and eclectic as tomorrow.

Dining aboard Seven Seas Voyager

While sailing the seven seas, it's only natural for us to bring a taste of international cuisine on board. From Indochine to Continental, French, Italian and classic American, a mélange of flavors comes together in a tantalizing array. You will find grand restaurants, cozy bistros and lively eateries where the dinner hour and the dining partners are always yours to choose. As the prefect complement, select wines are thoughtfully paired with each culinary creation, and alternative vintages are available from our cellars. Together, our food and wine represent a taste of the distinct cultures we visit, served up with pure delight.
  • Signatures Restaurant: In Signatures, authentic and quality French cuisine is inspired by the legendary Le Cordon Bleu® of Paris. The only restaurants at sea operated under the auspices of Le Cordon Bleu are in the Regent fleet. Even with a classic and elegant French ambiance, the cuisine is far from traditional - a marvelous mixture of culinary delights as inventive and eclectic as tomorrow await you.
  • Compass Rose Restaurant: The elegant Compass Rose is the ship's main restaurant, serving the finest continental cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The largest restaurant on board is spacious and stunning, with tables arranged so most guests have a picture window. Etched glass partitions make you feel as if you're dining in a much more intimate room. Menus include continental specialties as well as vegetarian and spa cuisine.
  • Latitudes: Savor distinctive Indochine specialties in the intimate atmosphere of Latitudes. The most intimate of restaurants on board, Latitudes offers authentic Vietnamese fare prepared using French cooking techniques, served in a traditional family-style manner. The menu, with portions sized to invite tasting and sharing, features appetizers, soup and salad, main courses and dessert.

Waiters recruited from some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels provide our renowned "Above and Beyond" service. Select wines and spirits are served with dinner, or you may select an alternative reserve vintage available for purchase from the wine cellar. And if you prefer to dine en suite, you may order selections from the chef's nightly menu during regular dining hours - while the room service menu is available 24 hours a day.

Dining aboard Seven Seas Navigator

Choose to dine at the elegant Compass Rose, the Pool Grill during the day, or make a reservation at the intimate Portofino Il Restorante. Or, of course you may choose to dine in the privacy of your suite at any hour with 24-hour room service. Waiters recruited from some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels provide our renowned "Above and Beyond" service. Select wines and spirits are served with dinner, or you may select an alternative reserve vintage available for purchase from the wine cellar.
  • Compass Rose Restaurant: Seven Seas Navigator's largest restaurant is spacious and absolutely stunning. Tables are arranged so that most guests have a picture window view, and thanks to the handsome etched glass partitions, you'll feel like you're dining in a much more intimate room. Menus include continental specialties as well as vegetarian and spa cuisine.
  • Portofino il Ristorante: Portofino il Ristorante is the venue for elaborate breakfast and lunch buffets in a more casual atmosphere.
However, at night, Portofino features regional Italian specialties served in a casually elegant, yet festive atmosphere. A maximum of 80 guests are welcomed to this authentic Italian experience with live music and elaborate tasting set up throughout the restaurant. As guests meander from setting to setting (and region to region), they will savor a variety of Italian antipasti and a selection of complimentary wines chosen to best match the featured dishes. Once all are seated, a celebratory ambiance ensues with musicians inviting guests to sing along to such classics as "Arrivederci Roma" and "I Found My Love In Portofino."
The set menu, delectably prepared and plated by the restaurant's two Italian chefs - and served by seven singing Italian waiters, features Minestrone alla Genovese, Tagliatelle Gamberi e Zucchine and Risotto Ai Funghi Porcini, plus a choice of two main courses including Aragosta Catalana, and dessert. The Portofino experience is a refined evolution of the popular Don Vito's concept from the Radisson Diamond®, including some of the original creators.

Dining aboard Paul Gauguin

Paul Gauguin's restaurants are designed to complement and enhance the dining experience, not overwhelm it. Dining is unhurried and relaxed - you may enjoy the pleasures of the table without the regimentation of assigned seating or having to rush through your dessert. Here, the constraints of formal wear, tuxedos and ties are forgotten and the only dress code is relaxed and country-club casual. Select wines and spirits are served with dinner, or you may select an alternative vintage available for purchase from the wine cellar. During normal dining hours, you may choose from the restaurants' menus and enjoy dinner in your stateroom or suite. A special 24-hour room service menu is also available.

  • L'Etoile - Enjoy fine French cuisine with a Polynesian accent amid the classic furnishings and fluted shell lighting reminiscent of one of the refined dining establishments in Paris. Here delectable cuisine is artfully presented and guests receive the most diligent attention.
  • Le Grill - Greet the sun with a buffet breakfast at Le Grill. Or enjoy lunch by the pool on a choice of grilled favorites, salads and fresh tropical fruits. At night Le Grill is transformed into a cozy indoor/outdoor restaurant serving grilled specialties in a more casual atmosphere.
  • La Veranda - La Veranda on Paul Gauguin - The French Restaurant inspired by Le Cordon Bleu
In both reality and the popular imagination no other country has approached France in terms of elevating its cuisine to a high art form. In spite of new trends and dietary habits, tradition still plays a major role in the French kitchen.
Le Cordon Bleu Chefs have created a menu for La Veranda not merely to explore the culinary highways and byways of France but to provide you with an extraordinary dining experience that captures the very essence of the country. The menu is artfully assembled to take you on a culinary journey from Provence to the Normandy and from Alsace to the Valley of the Loire. To accommodate our guest's taste buds and health concerns, Le Cordon Bleu created lighter sauces and vegetarian options.
In perhaps no other country in the world does food and wines complement each other as fittingly as they do in France. This symbiotic relationship between the culinary and oenological arts is no mere accident. As wine styles evolved in areas like Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Valley of the Loire, regional cuisine evolved to match them. As our chefs take you on a grand culinary tour of the best of contemporary French cuisine you will have an opportunity to try the complimentary wines that make such a harmonious match with dishes.
