Southampton Princess Golf Club
Skillful iron work, rather than sheer power, is what counts at this deceptive 18- hole, par-54 course. Located on the grounds of the luxurious Southampton Princess Hotel, it commands one of the Islands loftiest and most scenic settings. And when the wind blows in off the Atlantic, the 2,684 yard lay-out reintroduces you to almost every club in your bag. Whats nice is, the Southampton Princess is a healthy challenge for every golfer, with ample water hazards, elevated tees and strategically placed bunkers.
Golf arrangements and reservations of tee times are made on board with the Celebrity golf pro. Transportation is not included in cost. Bermuda is very strict on the issue of dress code. Proper Bermuda length shorts and shirts with a collar are mandatory for both players and riders. Soft spikes are mandatory at all courses. These rules are strictly enforced.
Hartley's Reef Safari
Have you ever thought about hand-feeding the fish? Hartleys Underwater Adventure is one of the original Helmet Diving experiences in Bermuda. You will be able to walk underwater, feed the fish, and you dont even need to know how to swim! The main instructor, Greg Hartley, has been helmet diving for 40 years, and has been diving in the same area for over 10 years, so he has become quite friendly with some of the local creatures that are frequent visitors.
For those of you who wear glasses or contact lenses, its no problem---the helmet fits over your head, similar to the concept of a glass being put upside down into a sink of water (except your helmet will have a constant supply of air pumped into it!). This is a great opportunity for those who are timid in the water to experience what they hear the divers and snorkel participants speak so highly about.
