NCL's Pride of America Refurbished

HawaiiIt’s been over a year in the works, but Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America has come out of her $30 million renovation with a major facelift. The ship is the only cruise ship to sail in and around Hawaii without any stops on the continental United States. The upgrades were announced last year and in March the ship entered a 14-day dry dock.
This renovation included the addition of  two specialty restaurants: Moderno Churrascaria, a Brazilian steakhouse, and Cagney’s, Norwegian’s traditional steakhouse. The  ship also received upgraded technology, including  ship-wide wireless Internet connectivity, flat screen TVs in all staterooms and new directional signage.

Those new rooms consist of two Owner’s Suites, two Deluxe Penthouses, four inside staterooms and four solo studios. The remaining 20 staterooms are Penthouse Suites.
The Owner’s Suites sleep four guests and have mosaic tiles in the bathroom, along with a separate living area and a large bedroom. The Deluxe Penthouses sleep six and come with large balconies perfect for viewing the beautiful Hawaiian coastline. Guests staying in the Penthouse Suites and above will also have access to butler service, an espresso machine and private dining, among other amenities.
Also included in the upgrades were renovations to the fitness center, photo gallery, gift shop and art gallery, along with new carpeting throughout the ship.
The Pride of America has resumed her 7-day cruises that depart from Honolulu every Saturday and visit spots like Maui, Kona and the Napali Coast. If you are interested in experiencing the wonders of Hawaii, contact The Cruise Web today to learn more about a sailing on Norwegian’s Pride of America.
