Viking River Cruises will be giving guests the opportunity to experience The Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany in 2020. The Oberammergau, The Passion Play itinerary will travel between Munich and Budapest along the Danube River from May through October 2020.
The highlight of this ten-day itinerary is the performance of The Passion Play, a depiction of suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ. It is performed by the citizens of Oberammergau once every decade and has been performed since 1634.
