The Cruise Web team got in the holiday mood this past Halloween. From the familiar witch to the truly unique smurfette, our staff had some fun and funny costumes. On top of our festive coworkers we were treated to a deceptively delicious lunch provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The Cruise Web’s Rosalind Smith, Julie Atkins, John Herrera and Karolina Shenton attended Washingtonian Magazine’s 2012 ‘Style Setters’ event in the nation’s capital on September 28th for an evening of elegance and style. Also present was the publisher of Washingtonian, Catherine Merrill Williams, Cunard’s Regional Sales Director, Anthony Viciana, and Cunard’s Business Development Manager, Catherine Anderson.

The month of October was full of celebration at The Cruise Web as we marked two major employee milestones. Within days of each other, Rosalind Smith and Karolina Shenton both reached their 10-year Cruise Web anniversaries.

The Cruise Web was honored to join the Regent Seven Seas Council this year. Joining the council is a special honor recognizing The Cruise Web’s ongoing partnership with Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Being a member of the council entitles The Cruise Web to access exclusive deals for our customers. It also gives The Cruise Web more face time with the President and senior members of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ organization.

The Cruise Web team got a special treat courtesy of Princess Cruises and Cunard Line’s new Vice President of North American Sales, Brian O’Connor. O’Connor was promoted from marketing and public relations director for Cunard Line in late March. He has been traveling all over the country visiting travel agents to introduce himself. O’Connor said it was important for him to meet the travel agents and get their feedback on both Princess Cruises and the Cunard Line.

On July 3, 2012, The Cruise Web was presented with a commemorative plate to welcome the company to Oceania Cruises’ prestigious 2012 Cruise Connoisseur Club. The honor was to acknowledge The Cruise Web’s contribution to Oceania Cruises’ success in 2011 and 2012.

Love is contagious at The Cruise Web offices. Last month our sales recruiter tied the knot and now we have two employees that have each gotten engaged (not to each other though).
