What does Kelly Clarkson have in common with Norwegian Cruise Line? A lot, according to Norwegian Cruise Line’s president and CEO, Andy Stuart. When Stuart announced Clarkson’s appointment as Norwegian Encore’s godmother, he said, “We knew we wanted someone who represents our core values,” said Stuart. “Kelly is a role model who is passionate about family and community, as well as music and entertainment. These are our passions too.”
The final Breakaway-class ship, Norwegian Encore will debut in November 2019, holding 3,998 passengers and featuring some of Norwegian Cruise Line’s iconic onboard activities. As with Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Encore will feature a go-kart track on the top deck—only this one is over 1,000 feet long and has windy curves extending over the edge of the ship! If you want to continue the competition off the track, march into the open-air arena and battle your friends and family in laser tag!
Norwegian Encore is highly anticipated for her entertainment lineup, which will be headlined by the renowned, award-winning musical Kinky Boots. Even frequent past passengers of Norwegian Cruise Line will find unique experiences on board, such as the new Italian specialty dining option, Onda by Scarpetta.
