The Theatre
Celebrity Edge is taking the traditional theater and completely revamping it. The Theatre on Celebrity Edge will blur the line between audience and performance and will immerse guests like never before. The main stage will extend into the audience and create a theater-in-the-round sensation. A duo-directional rotating platform raises almost seven feet above the stage and will take performances to a brand new level. With two rotating spiral staircases, 10 synchronized panoramic projection screens, 16 state-of-the-art video mapping laser projections, aerial performance rigging and more, this innovative technology will revolutionize cruise ship entertainment. Guests can enjoy 5 new shows – the Shakespeare inspired A Hot Summer Night’s Dream where fun theatre meets phenomenal acrobatics; The Jewelry Box which has jaw-dropping technological feats; Kaleidoscope, a high-energy dance and music extravaganza that heavily uses state-of-the-art technology; Get up, a dynamic pop concert produced by Black Skull Creative; and finally, The Purpose, an uplifting production designed to celebrate the inner self.
The Club
The Club was created in collaboration with the same visionaries behind Eden, and like Eden it is a transformative space that will change throughout the day. During the day, fun experiences like the Funovation Laser Maze Challenge and the Drone Hunting laser obstacle course will be available. At night, The Club will undergo another transformation. Undercover at The Club will put a modern spin on the Prohibition era with 20’s-inspired craft cocktails and an aerial saxophonist. Andromeda, a futuristic body scanner, will allow guests to become someone else for the evening. Finally, the Hypno Cam Experience is a first-at-sea dance party featuring a high-tech camera that will be passed around to capture photos – which are then instantly displayed on the giant LED screen.
Camp at Sea
Celebrity Edge is taking its Camp at Sea to the next level for the younger members of the family. With more than 500 activities, including Celebrity’s first youth coding experience at sea and two separate hangout areas, one for teens and one for kids, Camp at Sea will entertain and delight kids of all ages.
Other Entertainment
In addition to The Theatre, The Club and Camp at Sea, Celebrity Edge has entertainment infused throughout the entire ship. Guests can enjoy the Rooftop Concert Series and the Garden Cinema Series at the Rooftop Garden. Eden will have evolving entertainment as it transforms from a relaxed escape in the mornings, to playful in the afternoons, to “sinful” at night. Daytime experiences include Meditation at Eden and performances from sitar players and aerialists. As the day turns to night, Eve at Eden begins. This theatrical journey will entice every sense and will put guests at the center of the experience for a fusion of culinary exploration, performance art and nightlife – which is like nothing else either on sea or land.
