Carnival Launches Video Series to Showcase Mardi Gras Cruise Ship

Go “Behind the Fun” and follow along as the buzz builds for Carnival’s upcoming Mardi Gras cruise ship! This new eight-part video series will take you from shipyard to sea with interesting pit stops along the way, including a meeting with Chef Emeril Lagasse and a preview of the test track for BOLT—the first roller coaster at sea!

In the series’ first video, Carnival Cruise Director Matt Mitcham and Brand Ambassador John Heald step back in time to explore the cruise line’s heritage and history of groundbreaking firsts, including a look back at the original TTS Mardi Gras.

I was on the first Carnival TSS Mardi Gras which was formerly the Empress
of Canada which was built in 1957. This cruise was in January 1985.
I was with the Jazz Sea Cruise passengers
