Carnival Pride is Back in Baltimore
Recently, Carnival Cruise Lines and the Maryland Port Administration celebrated the return of the renovated Pride to her new home port in Baltimore, Maryland. She will be sailing out of Baltimore year round and offering 5- to 14-day itineraries to Bermuda, Florida, the Caribbean and Bahamas. Her first sailing was on March 29, 2015 out of Baltimore and she is cruising to the Bahamas for seven days. As for the port city itself, Baltimore, Maryland is sure to please with the delicious fresh seafood, exciting entertainment and rich history waiting to be explored.
“Maryland values our long-standing relationship with Carnival and we are delighted to welcome the Carnival Pride back to her home port at the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore,” said Maryland Transportation Secretary Pete K. Rahn.
During the dry dock period, the Pride underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar refurbishment where all of the Fun Ship 2.0 innovations were added. These exciting innovations include but are not limited to Guy’s Burger Joint, Bonsai Sushi, Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Pub and a Poolside Red Frog Rum Bar. New entertainment features include Hasbro, WaterWorks water park and Green Thunder; the fastest and steepest water slide at sea.
