Seabourn, the luxury cruise line, is adding a new ship to their fleet. They announced this month that they have a deal in place for a new ship to be built by mid-2016. The ship will be designed after the Seabourn Odyssey with room for 604 passengers.
“With its delivery, the most highly rated cruise line in the world will also offer travelers the newest fleet of ships in the luxury segment,” Richard D. Meadows, Seabourn’s president, said in a statement.
The announcement of this new ship comes as Seabourn’s older ships are preparing to head out of commission in April the Seabourn Pride is the first to leave, followed by the Seabourn Spirit in April 2015 and then Seabourn Legend in May 2015.
