Royal Caribbean is setting the stage for the exciting premier of their newly reimagined and completely refurbished Empress of the Seas. Starting in March 2016, the new Empress of the Seas will sail a series of 4- and 5-night Caribbean getaways out of Miami, Florida.
If the Empress name sounds familiar, it’s because she was actually part of Royal Caribbean’s fleet in a former life up until 2008 when she departed for one of Royal Caribbean’s sister lines. But now she’s back with Royal Caribbean and better than ever with a host of new features and amenities!
Aboard the Empress, every night will be like Saturday night, and every morning like Sunday. The pool deck will be hotter than ever with the Plunge pool party keeping the good vibes alive at sea. Plus, a popular “Sunday Brunch” will be offered EVERY DAY on board, featuring a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa for guests. The revitalized Empress of the Seas will also feature Royal Caribbean’s signature rock climbing wall, fitness center, jogging track, Casino Royale, spa and the fastest internet at sea, VOOM.
Caribbean cruises aboard the Empress of the Seas won’t be like ordinary vacations. As Royal Caribbean would remind us, “This is not a cruise. This is an endless weekend. And this is not the Caribbean – this is the Royal Caribbean.” Thanks in part to the ship’s smaller size, guests can expect longer stays in ports like Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Nassau/CocoCay.
Empress of the Seas Itineraries:
- 4-night Bahamas (roundtrip Miami) featuring Nassau/CocoCay and Key West
- 5-night Western Caribbean (roundtrip Miami) featuring Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Costa Maya
