The already stunning Queen Elizabeth has been refurbished after only four years of sailing. Cunard really listened to their guests’ response on what could be enhanced aboard Queen Elizabeth. She was dry docked in Hamburg for 20 days, where routine maintenance and several enhancements were completed. Cunard planned these refurbishments and new designs for over 18 months, and now the revitalized Queen Elizabeth is sailing with her fresh makeover. Some of the new enhancements include: nine single cabins (a brand new concept to Cunard), new mattresses in all of the staterooms, brand new flat screen TVs in all of the staterooms, new carpeting throughout the ship and shaded cabana areas by the pool for guests.
