Oceania Cruises has just announced their entirely holistic approach to exploring the world. In December of 2019, Oceania Cruises will be debuting the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center across the entire Oceania fleet. The goal of the program is to curate the highest quality of life during one’s voyage in order to heighten the travel experience. Aquamar is much more than just a spa, and will cover all aspects of physical and mental health, including exercise, cuisine, balance, enrichment, and renewal. Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center will debut on Oceania Riviera on December 5, 2019 followed by Oceania Sirena and Oceania Nautica on December 7, 2019.
Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center draws from the natural healing powers of water itself. The actual word “Aquamar” is a combination of “aqua” and “mar” which are the Latin roots for “water” and “sea.” Oceania’s hope is to inspire guests to seek a healthy lifestyle for themselves, both in body and mind. This program will of course include an amazing spa with upgraded treatments and healing therapies, but that is just the beginning! The Aquamar Spa + Vitality program provides guests with nutrition consultants, fitness classes, plant-based cuisine, enrichment presentations and—because the program invites guests to explore their health both onboard and onshore—Wellness Discovery Tours! Aquamar’s Wellness Discovery Tours include adventures like Traditional Chinese Medicine Experience in Hong Kong, Thermal Baths of the Popes in Rome, or the Wonders of Apitherapy in Seville.
Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center will be succeeding Canyon Ranch on all Oceania vessels and many staff members from Canyon Ranch will now be a part of the Aquamar team. The new program will provide a full scale beauty salon, as did Canyon Ranch, for guests to take advantage of the professional skills of hair, nail, and makeup artists. Advanced reservations for Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center will become available in early November!
