Celebrity Cruises recently announced their new Celebrity Discovery Collection of small group excursions designed to help travelers immerse themselves in their destinations. The first tours of the Celebrity Discovery Collection will offer excursions in the visually stunning Western Mediterranean, and additional tours will be added globally throughout 2018.
The Celebrity Discovery Collection has been designed for everyone from seasoned travelers to brand new adventurers. Guests can choose from tours that take them off the beaten path or to must-see locations – and no matter what they choose, they are guaranteed to have the experience of a lifetime. The Celebrity Discovery Collection has a maximum of 24 guests per tour and allows travelers to enjoy more time at each location, have more individual interaction with their tour guide, and have a truly personal experience.

Here are a few examples of the new tours offered through the Celebrity Discovery Collection:
French Day Experience in Nice & St. Paul de Vence: Guests will have the opportunity to explore an underground vault from the 17th century, then a wine shop in Old Nice, before stopping at a Michelin-starred restaurant for a delicious lunch, then ending at the beautiful St. Paul de Vence.
Italian Pasta Experience: This tour is perfect for foodies! Or anyone who loves Italian food. You’ll begin your day at the famous Martelli pasta factory for a tour of the factory, and then you’ll enjoy an entertaining demonstration of how to make pasta at Torre a Cenaia in Tuscany.
Barcelona’s Secret Basilica – Concert at the Bell Tower: Music lovers will enjoy stepping back in time to enjoy a live concert of medieval music. You’ll begin the tour by exploring a 14th-centry bell tower, learning valuable knowledge about its history from an expert. Once you climb the 260 steps, you’ll enjoy the concert with a glass of wine.
