Carnival Goes Live!

Carnival Cruise Lines wants you to Come Sail Away with your favorite bands and singers like Styx, Lady Antebellum, Jennifer Hudson and Chicago. They’ve just announced that on 49 sailings this year a big name performer, including those mentioned above, will hold a 75-minute concert onboard.
This concert series starts on April 4 with Styx performing on the 5-day Carnival Fantasy cruise from Charleston, South Carolina to the Bahamas. The series continues through December 15 with REO Speedwagon’s performance aboard the 5-day Carnival Fascination sailing to the Bahamas from Jacksonville, Florida.
In between there will be at least two sailings per month with a concert. The performers are only onboard the ship the night of the concert. These concerts will take place when the ship is in Catalina, Cozumel or Nassau. On the night of the concerts, the ships will stay later in port until 1 a.m. to allow for the artists to disembark after the performance.
Tickets to the concert will cost between $20 and $40. These tickets can be purchased before your sailing through Carnival’s shore excursions or they can be bought onboard, if tickets are still available. For those looking for a little extra time with the artists, there are VIP tickets available. These tickets range from $100 to $150 and entitle you to meet the artists and have a photo opportunity. VIP ticket holders also get seating in the first three rows.
