Picking a favorite cruise destination can be a bit of a tough choice; after all, there are so many great countries, cities and hot spots out there, and each offers something slightly different from the next. But you know, sometimes you just have to pick a favorite and be done with it. So, we asked our well-traveled staff to put themselves in that spot between a rock and a hard place and make a decision.
To bring in the New Year, my family and I decided to take a 7-night cruise to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Jewel, and this sailing was a perfect selection for my family. We live in Baltimore, so the New York cruise terminal was easy, easy to drive, easy to find, easy to drop off, and easy to pick up. The Jewel was particularly nice since I was traveling with my 83-year-old mother, and 9-year-old son, Dominic.

This Thanksgiving my family decided to break from tradition. Instead of traveling to someone’s house and sitting down for a home cooked meal, we decided to forgo the hassles of driving and cooking.
