So it’s crunch time now. Your cruise is setting sail in a week. The week before vacation can be wonderful with the excitement and anticipation of knowing your getaway is so close, but it can also be a hectic time for people who are not prepared.
If you are going away for a week or more, there are a lot of things you will need to get done in order to make sure you don’t come back to double the stress of when you left. Luckily, we’ve been in your position before, so we’ve come up with a handy checklist of all the things you should do one week before your cruise.

Also present was the publisher of Washingtonian, Catherine Merrill Williams, Cunard’s Regional Sales Director, Anthony Viciana, and Cunard’s Business Development Manager, Catherine Anderson.

On October 13, 2012, The Cruise Web participated in the Baltimore Running Festival’s Mixed Team Relay for the second consecutive year. This year’s team, which featured returning members Karolina Shenton, Seth Woodward and Yossi May, along with newcomer Caroline Thomas, improved upon last year’s time by nearly 30 minutes to cross the finish line at 3:52:55.

The month of October was full of celebration at The Cruise Web as we marked two major employee milestones. Within days of each other, Rosalind Smith and Karolina Shenton both reached their 10-year Cruise Web anniversaries.

Carnival Cruise Lines have been innovators in the cruise industry for years. The cruise line is always updating and improving policies to stay ahead of the competition. Carnival is currently testing an all-you-can-drink program that will offer passengers unlimited drinks onboard, aptly named the ‘My Awesome Bar Program’ package, as well as implementing a check-in program in a popular port.

Beginning in 2013, Oceania Cruises will be expanding their loyalty program on all cruises. This expansion comes at the perfect time, right on schedule with the cruise line’s 10th anniversary. Where the previous loyalty program began at the Bronze Level, and required cruisers to accumulate 5 to 9 cruise credits, the new loyalty program, which applies to all 2013 cruises and beyond, allows passengers to join in the Blue Level and get loyalty perks after as little as two sailings.
