On June 10, 2021, Seabourn announced new “Extraordinary Expedition” itineraries for their ultra-luxury and purpose-built ship, Seabourn Venture. Beginning in fall 2022, guests will be able to seek adventure aboard 15 different 10- to 21-day Antarctic and Amazon expeditions, with the option to sail for 30 days aboard an extended voyage. Seabourn Venture is the world’s first ultra-luxury ship designed for exploration, for those travelers who seek high-end comfort and amenities that also have a taste for the wild side.
Each of these 15 Extraordinary Expedition voyages will feature a variety of experiences through which travelers can experience the awe-inspiring landscapes, wildlife, history, and natural wonders of each destination. Onboard, guests of Seabourn Venture will sail with an expedition team composed of highly regarded experts in their respective fields. These accomplished naturalists, historians, scientists, and wilderness experts are also part of the Seabourn Conservation Program and provide travelers with interesting insights into their breathtaking surroundings.
Seabourn Venture and her sister ship will each be equipped with 132 oceanfront suites, with indoor and outdoor guest areas envisioned by hospitality design icon Adam D. Tihany. Though ultra-luxurious, Seabourn Venture is also at the pinnacle of expeditionary ships. Seabourn Venture and her sister ship are both built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and are equipped with modern hardware and technology focused on extending the ships’ global deployment and capabilities. Each ship will also carry two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, and expedition kayaks that can accommodate all onboard guests at once.
