The Cruise Web Cruise Consultants Sherry J. and Jen C. were awarded their NCLU Ph.D.@Sea on their Western Caribbean cruise out of Miami, Florida, the week of December 6.
Sherry and Jen were eligible to go on the Ph.D.@Sea cruise because both consultants completed Norwegian Cruise Line’s NCLU – the lines’ in-depth online training program that educates travel agents about the many components that make up the line.
The Western Caribbean cruise featured two days at sea and calls to the ports of Roatan, Belize City, Costa Maya and Great Stirrup Cay. During the sea days Sherry and Jen attended two Ph.D.@Sea events. On the first day at sea the consultants attended a 3.5 hour seminar and on the second day they were awarded a “Behind the Scenes” tour of the m/s Norwegian Jewel. During the tour Sherry and Jen saw many of the crew-only areas including the galley, the backstage of the onboard theater and the bridge.
On Saturday, December 13, Sherry and Jen attended the NCLU graduation ceremony where they were awarded their Ph.D.@Sea Certificates of Completion, recognizing the hard work Sherry and Jen have done and continue to do for Norwegian Cruise Line at The Cruise Web.
