Recently, Ensemble Travel Group invited executives and managers from top agencies to participate in the first annual Executive Retreat at the Makena Beach & Golf Resort in Maui, Hawaii. The retreat was the first of its kind for Ensemble and The Cruise Web. Ensemble Travel Group partners with The Cruise Web to provide our clients unique services and experiences all over the world. The focus of this retreat was on improving creativity to enhance communications with employees and customers.
On July 3, 2012, The Cruise Web was presented with a commemorative plate to welcome the company to Oceania Cruises’ prestigious 2012 Cruise Connoisseur Club. The honor was to acknowledge The Cruise Web’s contribution to Oceania Cruises’ success in 2011 and 2012.
This month, some of The Cruise Web consultants and staff got a chance to play with Ray Lewis, the famed Baltimore Ravens linebacker, at his annual fundraising event: Ray’s Summer Days. The event is actually a weekend’s worth of fun activities that help raise money for the Ray Lewis Family Foundation, which seeks to provide personal and economic assistance to disadvantaged youth in Baltimore.
Love is contagious at The Cruise Web offices. Last month our sales recruiter tied the knot and now we have two employees that have each gotten engaged (not to each other though).
Last month, Senior Cruise Consultants John Tarantino and John Herrera were honored by Cunard Line for their exceptional work with the luxury line in 2011. Diane Pierson, Business Development Manager for Cunard Line and Princess Cruises, stopped by The Cruise Web’s office to present the awards and personally congratulate the two agents for their achievement.
It was no joke that on April 1, Rosalind Smith, The Cruise Web’s Business Development Manager, prepared 80 servings of macaroni and cheese. All that cheesy goodness was served at an event held by Martha’s Table, which is an organization that seeks to improve the life of Washington, DC’s at-risk population by providing food, clothing and educational and enriching opportunities.
On March 30, 2012, Dennard Melton, Sales Recruiter for The Cruise Web, was wed to Christina Nochera in an intimate wedding in Baltimore, MD. The wedding was followed by a reception in the Capital Grille’s elegant Johns Hopkins dining room.
