The Yachts of Seabourn’s highly anticipated new yacht Seabourn Sojourn navigated the River Thames and arrived at London with the early morning sun on Friday, June 4, 2010. Built by the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy, Sojourn is the second of three new luxury cruising vessels joining Seabourn’s fleet in three years, representing a 216 percent increase in capacity for the company.
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Sixthman and Carnival Cruise Lines have announced The Elvis Cruise celebrating The King’s 75th birthday. The voyage will depart November 4, 2010 on Carnival’s Carnival Fascination from Jacksonville, Fla.
The four-day cruise, which will include a stop in Nassau, The Bahamas, will be hosted by Elvis’ friend Jerry Schilling and feature a number of musical artists, including original members of Elvis’ TCB Band.

The immense job of drydocking Sea Princess will be featured in the June 3 episode of National Geographic Channel’s (NGC) top-rated show, World’s Toughest Fixes. TV viewers can go behind the scenes as host Sean Riley follows the entire process from the time the Princess Cruises ship enters the drydock to the final sea trials.
This December, Royal Caribbean International will once again make waves on the cruise vacation scene with the debut of the world’s next largest and most innovative cruise ship, Allure of the Seas. Norwegian Cruise Line announced that one of music’s most iconic performers, Reba McEntire, will christen the company’s newest and most innovative Freestyle Cruising ship to date, Norwegian Epic, the hottest new ship of the year. The christening ceremony will take place in New York on July 2, 2010 on board Norwegian Epic.
