It’s not very often that luxury liners stop in the United States, they are usually sailing to all the exotic corners of the globe, so our consultants jumped at the chance to tour the Azamara Journey when it docked in New York last month. After its brief stop, the Azamara Journey was cruising from New York to Paris on a transatlantic voyage.

Azamara Cruises – the two-ship brand launched in 2007 with the 694-guest Azamara Journey and sister ship Azamara Quest – recently became “Azamara Club Cruises,” with a newly refined focus, and a series of new attributes designed for upmarket, experienced travelers.
