This picture was taken at sunset on the beach in Reeds Bay in Lower Carlton, Barbados. Reeds Bay is a small secluded public beach that houses a few waterfront villas and is well-known with the locals. When visiting you can rent beach chairs or jet skis. Often times groups will stop by to look for sea turtles and snorkel.

The Cruise Web is working with Barry Vaudrin of Cruising Authority to give our cruisers an inside look at an Alaskan Cruise. Barry, an avid cruiser and videographer, will be on board Holland America’s Oosterdam for a week this month. The cruise will be roundtrip from Seattle, stopping in Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka and a few more ports. I got to eat park food (yum!), ride park rides and meet the Disney characters, but only one thing was really important to me, and that was meeting Mickey Mouse.

So we at The Cruise Web wanted to highlight some of the fun things to do if you are cruising from Boston or cruising to Boston.

As all of my past experiences in Europe were limited to the large cities, I have never had the opportunity to experience Europe in quite the same way as I did on my last cruise along the Mediterranean, and it was because of the in-depth excursions offered by our partner Ensemble that I was able to experience Europe in a new way.
