Last April, I had a chance to experience Bermuda on a 7-night Carnival cruise aboard the Carnival Splendor. I had an amazing time and experienced a bunch of ‘firsts’ along the way, but let’s begin with an overview of my itinerary: our cruise departed from New York City on a Tuesday with a direct course for Bermuda. The 2013 Super Bowl will no doubt go down in history as an amazing event. There will be intensity on the field. There will be lots of rowdy fans and even an incredible performance by Beyonce, but will this Super Bowl determine once and for all which city has the most dominant cruise port? It’s hard to tell.
Picking a favorite cruise destination can be a bit of a tough choice; after all, there are so many great countries, cities and hot spots out there, and each offers something slightly different from the next. But you know, sometimes you just have to pick a favorite and be done with it. So, we asked our well-traveled staff to put themselves in that spot between a rock and a hard place and make a decision.
