Following the success of its award-winning beverage package program, Celebrity has added new flavor to its packaging strategy by introducing a new specialty dining package program aimed at offering vacationers a simple way to explore fresh tastes while at sea.

Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled the first look at its new balcony and mini-suite stateroom designs for Project Breakaway, the project name for the company’s two new next generation Freestyle Cruising ships scheduled for delivery in April 2013 and April 2014. Each of the 144,017 gross ton NCL Breakaway Ship Aerialvessels will have approximately 4,000 passenger berths. Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian’s chief executive officer, presented the designs to more than 1,000 travel partners during a conference in Las Vegas.

This summer, tantalizing new dishes from Holland America Line’s esteemed Culinary Council will begin to be featured on the main dining room menu of the line’s 15 ships. The six Culinary Council chefs are each providing recipes for signature dishes and desserts that showcase their expertise and specialties.
