    The Cruise Web Goes to the Ballpark

    Cruise Web employees grabbed their mitts and caps on August 23 for a company trip to the Bowie Baysox game at Prince George’s Stadium. The Baysox are a class-AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles major league baseball team. The outing was even sweeter, or should I say more savory, for The Cruise Web employees because it began with an all-you-can-eat barbecue social, which included pulled pork, burgers, dogs, and some delicious sides like pasta salad.

    Pride of America Scheduled for Major Update

    Norwegian Cruise Line is investing more than $30 million to enhance and update their ship, the Pride of America. The Pride of America is the only cruise ship of its size sailing in Hawaii that sails under the U.S. flag. This means it’s the only ship that can sail around the Hawaiian islands without having to include a stop on the mainland of the US, Canada or Asia.

    The Cruise Web Cruises to the Bahamas

    The Cruise Web recently sponsored a trip for their employees to get away with a 3-day cruise to Nassau on the Carnival Imagination. The group of 16 was led by sales director and expert cruiser, Heather Wasson. While onboard, the team enjoyed all the ship had to offer from the comedy shows to betting big in the casino to the relaxing environment of the spa. The group stuck together off the ship as well on a catamaran and snorkeling excursion in the Bahamas.

    This picture was taken at sunset on the beach in Reeds Bay in Lower Carlton, Barbados. Reeds Bay is a small secluded public beach that houses a few waterfront villas and is well-known with the locals. When visiting you can rent beach chairs or jet skis. Often times groups will stop by to look for sea turtles and snorkel.
