Enchanted Princess: First Impressions From First Sailing

My Experience on Enchanted Princess' Inauguaral Cruise

Stargazing on Enchanted Princess

To say I was enchanted from the moment I stepped onboard Enchanted Princess is an understatement. The warm and inviting welcome we received from the staff sets the tone for the entire cruise. It’s so clear they are thrilled to be on the new ship and even more excited to be back to cruising.

I must admit, my expecations were high sailing on a new ship. Enchanted Princessthe newest ship from Princess Cruises, hits all the marks from the beautiful public spaces, soft color tones throughout the ship and more! The food (wow!) was amazing and the shows and onboard entertainment were spectacular. The Princess Medallion app was wonderful, turning my smartphone into a personal concierge!

Dining on Enchanted Princess

Let’s start off with the food.  If you are like me, you start with dessert!  Enchanted Princess has the only “Ospitalita Italiana” certification from the Italian government for meeting strict requirements for an authentic artisanal gelato – and it was such a treat that it felt like we were on the streets of Rome. There’s always guests hanging out by the gelato shop, so make sure you go early, since they close before dinner.

Enchanted Princess Dining Options

I had the opportunity to dine at one of the speciality restaurants onboard Enchanted Princess, The Crown Grill.  The lobster and steak were experly prepared by Princess chefs and then the waitress came around with Himalayan salts to enhance the flavor even more, ensuring our tastebuds will never forget this meal!  I was not disappointed with their recommendation to add these salts!  Key Lime custard dessert, freshly prepared of course, was the perfect ending to a special dinner at The Crown Grill.

Accomodations on Enchanted Princess

I had the chance to stay in a balcony stateroom and the amenities were unmatched. Enchanted Princess staterooms are plenty spacious, complete with enough storage and closet space to store clothes for me and my guest. And that’s just the stateroom – the bathroom in our balcony cabin was spacious and amenities were plentiful. Each lamp in the cabin has USB ports for plugging in electronics, which is especially important for those who use the Princess Medallion app when onboard Enchanted Princess.

My cruise was short, so I didn’t get the chance to enjoy all of the activities available onboard Enchanted Princess, but from what I heard, there was plenty to do! From basketball and golf to get your heart pumping to onboard lectures and trivia contests to expand your mind, make sure you have enough time to try out every activity onboard this beautiful new ship.

Enchanted Princess, I was truly enchanted to meet you and I can’t wait to be back onboard.
