| MSC Cruises is hosting a special soccer-themed cruise in partnership with internationally acclaimed Italian soccer club AC Milan. A sponsor of the team, MSC Cruises will welcome fans on a "Rossoneri Cruise" featuring on AC Milan. The 7-night Mediterranean sailing will focus on the game and the club's proud history. The "Rossoneri Cruise" on MSC Splendida departs Genoa June 2 and calls in Barcelona, Spain; Tunis, Tunisia; La Valletta, Malta; and Messina and Rome, Italy. Cruise-only rates begin at $699.* The "Rossoneri Cruise" will include a Milan Junior Camp, where younger fans will play under the expert supervision of the club's youth team coaches. On the cruise, fans will have the opportunity to spend time with some of the team's leading players and staff. Onboard activities will include watching films of memorable past matches, learning more about the preparation of professional soccer players and developments in sports medicine. Guests also can participate in training sessions with players and staff and compete in tournaments for both adults and children. In addition, during the call in Barcelona, guests can visit the legendary Camp Nou stadium, the "temple" of Spanish "football" that can seat as many as 98,787 fans. |
