There are plenty of reasons to cruise to Liverpool, which is synonymous with perhaps the biggest band to ever exist, The Beatles. The Fab Four all grew up in Liverpool and joined up in the late 1950s. Whether you love the Beatles or not, you can’t deny that they have shaped our culture. Liverpool has been described as a working class city, but over the centuries it became a major port and was at one point wealthier than London. This prominence proved dangerous, however, as it was heavily bombed during the Second World War. Liverpool is now a must see for history lovers and music fans.
