Isla Bartolome, Galapagos Islands Cruise Port

• The iconic Pinnacle Rock is one of the most famous landmarks in the Galápagos, let alone on Bartolomé. Created from lava, it reaches out of the ocean like a giant shark's fin and is an impressive site both close up and from the top of the viewpoint.
   
• On the ground, you'll find even more to love about Pinnacle Rock, as this is where a great deal of the island's marine life calls home. The rich ecosystem includes iguanas, sea lions, green sea turtles, crabs, and many more species.
   
• There are also plenty of birds to be found, including blue herons, boobies, and, of course, the friendly and adorable Galápagos penguins. If you’re lucky, you may even get to swim with them.
   
• Underwater, snorkelers and divers will encounter a completely different universe. Keep an eye out for Galápagos sharks, white-tip sharks, rays, and parrot fish (among many others). The visitor site at Pinnacle Rock makes a great diving spot, and it's also safe for swimming. You can also check out Golden Beach (Playa Dorada) for a great sunbathing spot.
