The glacier's longest source originates from an altitude of approximately 3,400 m and approximately 122 km from the snout. The origin is about 8 km West of Mount Walsh. At the Easternmost summit of Mount Logan originates a shorter tributary to the glacier at an approximate altitude of 5,600 m. This glacier is joined by Valerie Glacier to the West.
