Cruise ship suites come in all shapes and sizes, but each is designed with the same purpose in mind: to provide an unrivaled level of luxury and comfort. Cruising in a suite is an experience unlike any other. From the remarkable personal attention to the soothing atmosphere, cruise suites are sure to impress. This photo in particular is of the cabana and natural-water pool located in the Courtyard Villa aboard the Norwegian Gem, taken by our own Tina C.

President's Message
Sweet Suites
There's a special feeling that overcomes you anytime you walk into the luxurious accommodations that come with a cruise ship suite. Perfect colors, finely placed works of art, stylish furniture, a bottle of chilled champagne, and fresh canapés await you as you walk in the door. A few steps further and you are drawn to the double glass sliding doors that overlook the serene blue sea from your own teak veranda with private whirlpool. You'll be tempted to immerse yourself out here for seven days straight, although at this moment you cannot resist a tour of the marble counters, glass shower, and gorgeous fixtures that caught your eye on your way past the bath.
You're not tired in the least, yet your king-sized bed beckons. You sprawl backwards, test the "pillow menu" choices, turn on your remote-controlled high-fidelity sound system, and stare at the waterfall video art on your flat-screen TV.
By now you're pinching yourself in disbelief, but this is no dream — it's a suite! You're surrounded by unbelievable comforts and you haven't even started to use all of your 'sweet' amenities!
What makes Egyptian cotton linens so soft? Exactly how big is a king-sized bed? How many emails are in your inbox? Who cares!?! It's time to crack that champagne and let the stress of the last week roll with the whirlpool bubbles up and off your back, evaporating out and into the glistening blue sky above.

This month's employee profile spotlights Tina Colicchio, also known as The Cruise Web Mom. Tina came to The Cruise Web from Georgia and the world of politics. Tina moved to the DC area while following her job for a Political Action Committee.
All while working at the PAC, Tina's true passion was cruising. She has been on over 25 cruises in her lifetime, and when she saw that she could make a living in an industry that she was so passionate about, Tina sprang into action.
When The Cruise Web didn't immediately respond to her electronic resume, Tina printed out her resume, marched right into the office and demanded an interview with the hiring coordinator. The rest is Cruise Web history. Tina has been with The Cruise Web for over 3 years, she has risen through our company and is one of our top producers.
Tina is The Cruise Web Mom because when it's someone's birthday, she coordinates the birthday cake. When someone has a baby or wedding, Tina arranges the surprise showers for the expectant parents and bride and groom. She also plans our parties, including our recent bowling event (see bowling news item). And she's the mother of a Cruise Web employee, our Sales Assistant Crystal.
Tina's Southern Charm and dedication to customer service has made her a successful Cruise Consultant. "I strive to provide excellent customer service because it builds relationships. If I take care of my clients, they'll remember me and come back to me. Customer service is not that common anymore."
The Current Spotlight: Our Sweetest Suite Experiences
A compilation from The Cruise Web employees
Sometimes the best word to describe a suite is, well, sweet! Cruises vary widely depending on the type of cabin booked, and there's no denying that the suite is in a class of its own. From the moment passengers step into a suite, it's clear that their vacation is going to be extraordinary. The following suite experiences represent some of the sweetest as remembered by The Cruise Web's employees:

My Courtyard Villa Experience
By The Cruise Web, Inc.
In December of 2008, I went to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Gem and got to stay in one of their Courtyard Villas. We were picked up by limousine early that morning in DC and started heading to New York. When we arrived at the port, we announced that we had a Courtyard Villa. Upon hearing that, the special treatment began. They quickly checked us in and asked us to wait in a private lounge with refreshments, which was nice since we had been driving all morning.
Upon boarding, we were greeted with champagne and mimosas. We kept moving as we were so excited to explore the ship and see our villa...
