Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian to Host Culinary Activities on Norwegian Breakaway

His wildly successful additions to the Norwegian Breakaway, the Ocean Blue restaurant (check out our personal review here), The Raw Bar, and Ocean Blue on the Waterfront, have been received extremely well by the cruising industry, and now he will hop aboard for a selection of special culinary activities on certain Breakaway sailings.

Iron Chef’s Company On Your Next Cruise

During  upcoming Norwegian Breakaway sailings on Nov. 3  and  Dec. 1, 2013,  Zakarian will spend three days on each, hosting special culinary activities. Described as “unique and interactive opportunities,” Norwegian cruisers will have the chance to:

  • Meet Zakarian and take photos with him
  • Sit in on a dynamic cooking demonstration
  • Attend a book signing
  • Partake in a specially chosen Ocean Blue tasting menu served by Iron Chef Zakarian himself

Geoffrey Zakarian is a well-respected innovator in the food industry. He has run some of the best kitchens in the country, owns two popular restaurants in New York City (The Lambs Club and The National), owns one in The Water Club in Atlantic City, has written a cookbook, and was chosen as winner of The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs, in addition to his residency as a judge on Chopped.
