Your drive takes you from the marina pier past elegant hotels to Richard Burton Park on the Acuale River, where you'll catch a glimpse of Gringo Gulch, an area once routinely visited by the rich and famous. From here you'll continue south past Mismaloya Beach along the scenice coastal highway. You can quench your thurst with a refreshing beer, margarita, or soft drink at a rustic restaurant overlooking the water. Returning to town, you'll make a stop for shopping before continuing to the downtown plaza to walk along the malecon, browse the shops or visit the awe- inspiring Catherdral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. You may remain in the downtown area to shop; however, you will then be responsible for your own return transportation

Countryside on Horseback
    Explore Puerto Vallarta's tropical mountainous countryside on horseback. A short van ride takes you to the Sierra Madre Ranch, where well-trained horses lead you on a two -hour guided trail ride along the foothills, passing through quaint Mexican Villages. You'll ride through the verdant jungle and even visit a sulfur hot spring before returning to the ranch. You'll make a refreshment stop along the way before returning to the ship.

Bullfight Demonstration and Show.
    On this tour, take a short ride to La Plaza de Toros for a Mexican-style rodeo show with dancing horses and rope tricks performed by skilled matador and the brave and noble bull. After the show you will have an opportunity to take pictures with the matador.

Golf at Marina Vallarta
    Designed by Joe Finger, Marina Vallarta Club de Golf is an exquisite,18-hole,6,500-yard championship course, which boasts beautiful fairways dotted with lakes, ponds, and lagoons. Originally designed as a private golf club, with members only permitted to play, the club has agreed to offer Princess passengers a special package that includes round-trip transportation, greens fees, and a cart (shared by two people) with one mandatory caddy per foursome. This package may be purchased onboard and is exclusive of club rental and lunch. This premier club house features a pro shop, restaurant and locker facilities.
