A leisurely quarter-mile walk takes you over gently sloping terrain with several stops along the way to savor the extraordinary views, refreshments and seasonal fresh fruits. After your walking tour, a traditional Jamaican-style lunch is served.

Board you air- conditioned transportation for the approximately 45-minute drive along the dramatic Jamaican coast to historic Martha Brae River. At the river, board your two-person bamboo raft for a tranquil, two-mile journey (approximately one and one quarter hours) down the winding river, which is named for an Arawak Indian girl. Legend has it that she refused to reveal the location of a gold mine to Spanish soldiers. Instead, Martha Brae used her supernatural powers to change the course of the river, drowning herself and her captors. After your raft trip, enjoy a complimentary beverage and make a brief shopping stop before returning to the ship.

Your guided walking tour takes in the distillery, the aging house, and a collection of sugar and rum-making artifacts.
