    The death-defying feats of Acapulco's La Quebrada divers highlight this excursion. After boarding your motorcoach, you'll drive through this former fishing village and pass its many colorful beaches enroute to La Quebrada where you will view this spectacular daredevil attraction. While traveling along the Costera Miguel Aleman and coastal highway, you will enjoy a brief stop to look at the panoramic scenery. Then it's off to the world-famous Acapulco Princess Hotel, built in the shape of an Aztec pyramid. You'll go from one end of Acapulco Bay to the other. There will also be time to shop for souvenirs before heading back to the ship.

Acapulco Through the Ages
    Take a nostalgic trip throught this famous city, starting with a visit to historic Fort San Diego. Built in 1697, and later destroyed by an earthquake, this fortress was rebuilt in the 1700s and now contains the Historical Museum of Acapulco. Next, its Acapulco circa 1950 at the Los Flamingos Hotel, formerly owned by movie legend John Wayne. You'll have time to stroll the grounds and enjoy refreshments. Then it's off to Las Brisas overlooking Acapulco Bay for a visit to the Chapel of Peace, erected as a memorial to the developer's two children, who perished in a plane crash. The view from this chapel is truely serene. Make a short stop at a luxurious villa for a relaxing beverage before visiting a factory which makes delicate diamond-cut jewelry. Here you'll have time to watch artisans at work an browse for souvenirs before returning to the ship.

    A combination of sightseeing and relaxation awaits you on this deluxe tour. Discover the city's major attractions, including the famous La Quebrada cliff divers and time permitting the Acapulco Princess Hotel. During your visit to the Vidafel Mayan Palace Hotel, a five star hotel and famous for its lovely gardens, you'll enjoy a buffet lunch before lounging by the pool or on the beach; towels and changeing facilities are provided. There will also be a stop en route for shopping before going back to the ship.

Shotover Jet Boat Ride
    Enjoy a scenic ride throught the heart of Acapulco and along the Sun Highway en route to the launch site of your Shotover Jet Boat ride on the Papagayo River. During the 50-minute drive, you'll pass by several Mexican villages and make a brief photo stop for a bird's-eye view of the river. The Papagayo River is renowned for its spectacular canyons and untouched flora and fauna. You'll have a short safety briefing before the start of the exhilarating ride which lasts 30 minutes Your highly trained captain will whisk you through the narrow, twisting canyon, skimming over the water past rocky outcroppings. The high speeds, tight turns and lots of spray make for an exciting adventure. You'll return to the ship via the same route, taking with you the memories of one of the world's most exciting boat rides.
