    Hong Kong's Jockey Club was founded in 1884 ' four decades after the island's first horse race was run in Happy Valley. Visit the Club's two famous tracks for a day at the races. Happy Valley is surrounded by Hong Kong's high rises while Sha Tin in the New Territories was the site of the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Event.

  • WHAT YOU VISIT
    Hong Long Jockey Club ' Founded in 1884, the Club today maintains stewardship over its two racecourses as well as supervising all legal gambling on Hong Kong.
    Happy Valley Racecourse ' Hong Kong's first racing meet was held in Happy Valley in 1846. Today skyscrapers of surround the historic racecourse. Races are held from September through June of each year. Your visit includes admission to the members' enclosure.
    Sha Tin ' Completed in 1979, the Jockey Club's second venue is located in the park-like settings of the New Territories. Site of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Equestrian Event, Sha Tin hosts some 478 races during its annual meeting including the Sha Tin Jubilee Silver Cup. Your visit includes admission to the members' enclosure.
