Glacial Fjord Bicycle Tour

    Tour an ocean estuary and glacier-fed Chilkoot Lake by bicycle!

    Learn about colorful local history as you depart downtown Haines on a short van ride. After gearing up, your bicycle ride starts along the shore of Lutak Inlet, where the river meets the sea. Pedal eight miles along flat dirt and paved roads, keeping a look out for wildlife that might include eagles, salmon, sea lions, whales and bears. Take in gorgeous views across the emerald lake and inlet surrounded by glaciers, waterfalls and jagged mountain peaks.

    Enjoy mild exercise and the great Alaska outdoors.

    SPECIAL NOTES
    Wear walking shoes or sport shoes and dress warmly. Distance covered is approximately 8 miles. Participants should be confident on a bicycle with hand brakes and must be at least 4'6". This tour is only available on the Sea Princess voyages departing 7/3/09 and 7/23/09.
    Liability waiver is required to be signed in the presence of the tour operator.
    Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
