Sample Shore Excursions:
- Walking Tour Of LÜDeritz Tour -
A walking tour explores this little German village with its coffee shops, Lutheran church and colonial architecture.
- Lüderitz Museum - The small museum’s exhibits chronicle Lüderitz’s history and role as a port for the diamond mines of the interior and the fishing resources on the coast.

- Goerke Haus - Built by Lieutenant Hans Goerke in 1910, the house has since served as a headquarters for Consolidated Diamond Mines, as the magistrate’s residence, and now as a small museum. It is still occasionally used as a guesthouse by mining VIPs.
- Kolmanskop "Ghost Town" Tour: Visit and explore Kolmanskop, once a thriving diamond boomtown that is being reclaimed by the desert.

The Deutsche Diamant Gesellschaft established mines, and the company built a self-sufficient town with a butcher, a baker and an ice factory. After World War I, Consolidated Mining took over and added a casino. But the mines gave out, and Kolmanskop was abandoned in the late 1940s. Today the buildings are half-filled with sand. Your guides lead a 30-minute tour of the site, and then you have time to explore this African ghost town on your own. There is a small museum, a curio shop, coffee shop and a "diamond room" where diamonds may be purchased.
