These coral atolls boast some of the most renowned snorkeling and diving on earth. Make anchor at Rangiroa, whose sheltered lagoon is home to dolphins, rays, and myriad colorful tropical fish. Nearby Fakarava is home to black sand beaches, a black pearl farm, and a variety of rare birds and plants.
