    After your transfer into town you'll meet your guide and visit Stockholm's oldest and coziest quarters, the Old Town of Gamla Stan. Witness the historic elegance of the exterior of the dominating Royal Palace, and stroll along the narrow, twisting alleys and cobblestone streets. You'll experience the medieval intimacy of what is today a living historical monument of international renown. You'll also see Stortorget and the Great Square - the hub of the Old Town, dominated by the old Stock Exchange, today housing the Nobel Museum and the Swedish Academy, which meets each year to decide the laureate of the Nobel Prize for Literature. Rejoin your coach and continue through the city center and on to the Nordic Hotel in the heart of the city, where the world's first permanent ice bar is located. The interior is kept at -5 degrees Centigrade all year round. The whole interior, including glasses, is made of pure, clear ice from the Torne River in Northern Sweden. A complimentary drink in an ice glass will be served and the staff will tell you more about the bar and the construction. At the end of your tour, say goodbye to your guide and return back to the ship. Note: You'll spend approximately 25 minutes in the ice bar. Depending on the licensing laws, non-alcoholic drinks will be served if the bar is unable to offer vodka which might depend on the day of the week. Tour sequence may vary in order to avoid congestion at the venues. The drive to Stockholm takes approximately one hour each way

    Join the perfect introduction to Stockholm, the Capital of Scandinavia. Take a rural drive from Nynashamn into Stockholm while your guide tells you about Sweden and Stockholm. Enjoy the beautiful sights as you pass by landmark locations like the Medieval Old Town of Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, Parliament House and more. Continue along the water and on to the green and lush island of Djugarden. Here you'll visit the Vasa Museum, home to the magnificent warship 'Vasa', one of Sweden's number one attractions. The 'Vasa' dates back to the 17th century and is the best preserved warship of its time. Leaving the 'Vasa', drive through the modern downtown and business areas before being dropped off in a central location for free time before your coach picks you up for the return drive to Nynashamn. Note: Participants will be able to enjoy approximately 4 hours of free time. The drive to Stockholm takes approximately one hour each way.

    Nynashamn is a countryside idyll in the southern archipelago of Stockholm, and a place where people have lived since the Stone Age. Leaving the pier you'll drive along the coastal road �Strandvsgen', which is a small narrow road winding along the shores of the Baltic. From here the view of the archipelago is magnificent. You'll take a short walk along the shores near the Lovhagen recreation area. In the years before the First World War rich people from all over Europe came to Nynashamn to visit the famous health center and casino called Nynss Hafsbad. Nowdays the buildings are restored and once again, people from outside come to relax and have a cold bath in the Baltic. After the stop you'll continue to the small town Nynashamn and see the town itself. Outside the town you'll find the beautiful rural areas with the red painted Swedish farms. You'll also drive along the �Road of the rune stones' where you'll hear fantastic stories about the Vikings who lived here. The road is one of the few that still follows an early Viking road. The 12th century church in Osmo is well known because of its unique paintings in the ceiling. The paintings were donated by the young woman Brita, who was accused to be a spy for the Danish King. After the Osmo church visit, your tour continues with panoramic drive back to pier.
